04/24/25 - FYI, Morse Chat is now patched to handle more than two users effectively. It also draws random images from the database while you chat. To be completed, proper fart tone and layered transmit.
Zach: @baofengcowboy: This one is actually a pretty decent model. I set one up for Minnix running my custom client for Android. With network radios you have to look past what they are and even in some cases what they aren't. Yes you can do everything they do on a smart phone but a smart phone isn't as locked down and kiosked as a radio. These are great building blocks for people to learn about android and play with customizing handheld devices.
minnix: I can second that. The software zach put on mine starts on boot and just works. From the UI to the speed that it connect, youd never know it is not a normal radio. The client even gas user defined Roger beeps!
